◆Library Card
Members of HU(Hiroshima University): Please use your student or staff ID as a library card.

Members of HU without student or staff ID: ID can be issued at your department.

◆Circulation Policy
Central, West, Kasumi and Higashi-Senda Library

*The following materials are available for in-library use only. Reference books, newspapers, current issues of journals, some AV materials, rare books,etc.
*The loan period for a book will be extended for students during the spring, summer and winter vacations. Detailed information will be announced on the website.

◆Borrowing Materials
Your student or staff ID card is required to borrow materials.
Books can be borrowed with Automatic Book Circulation machines or at the circulation desk.
Journals can be borrowed by filling out the journal usage application form and submitting it to the circulation desk.

◆Returning Materials
You can return a book to the circulat ion desk in any library. When the library is closed, put it in the book drop, excludin g East one.
* You cannot borrow and make a reservation any materials newly i f you hold overdue books. After returning the overdue books, yo u will not
  be able to borrow a book for a certain number of days depending on the number of days overdue.
* If you have lost or damaged materials, you will be responsible for the replacement cost.
* Do not put journals and AV materials in the book post. Please return them to the circulation desk in the library where you bo rrowed them.
