Databases by Title (A-Z)

Olms Online presents titles with additional information. These are reprints with new introductions, afterwords, notes or indexes added by the editors. Here you will find some 400 volumes with a focus on German language and literature and on philosophy.

This database enables you to search over 15 millions of articles in the paper by "Asahi Shinbun" since 1879.

Headings and full text for articles included of the Asahi Shimbun are stored as text data.

In the Asahi Shimbun Reduced-size Facsimile Edition, it is possible to search on articles from 4 eras: [Meiji/Taisho], [Showa (Pre-World War II)], [Showa Post-World War II], [Heisei].

A modern dictionary which introduces both basic key terms and the newest terminology that seriously affects our world.

Information such as biographical data and contact information of influential people from all fields is covered, including economists, politicians, researchers, cultural figures and athletes.

More than 10,000 photographs are archived, the majority ranging from before and after the Manchurian Incident to after the defeat in war.

Asahi Graph, a pictorial magazine established in 1923. Kikuzo II Visual brings to the users a digital archive of images in color that appeared in approximately 2,000 issues up until 1956.

The Asahi Shimbun Company has just created a database of its English-language newspapers.
