Some library services unavailable August 22-28 for system replacement

HU libraries will replace the library server system from August 22 to August 28. During this time, some library services including OPAC will be unavailable.

- Reserve / Hold books via OPAC
- User login services including renew books and request of InterLibrary Loan and new purchase

Services unuvailable from 17:00, Friday August 23
- Borrow and Renew materials
- Use of library computers and printers 
  * IMC printers will be available
- OPAC search
- Website : http://opac.lib.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/
- E-mail alert from HU libraries
* There is a possibility of some webpages of HU libaries unavailable

Services available
- Return checked out materials
- Library website
- E-Journals, E-books and online databases
- Single and group study rooms
- Receive your InterLibrary Loan items which will be delivered until 16:00 August 26

Library Closing for Construction

East library and parts of West and Kasumi libraries will be closed because of the construction. We will provide necessary details once decided.

East Library
Closing from early August, 2019 to early May, 2020. Books on the 3rd floor will be moved to West library in August, 2019. Print journals will be unavailable from early August 2019 to early May 2020.

West Library
Open space on the 3rd floor will be closed from late May, 2019 to early August, 2019.

Kasumi Library
Kasumi library will be mostly closed from early August, 2019 to early May 2020, but there will still be some services available.
