About InterLibrary Loan Request from August 9th to August 18th.

Due to the summer vacation, InterLibrary Copy/Loan Request will be suspended for the following period.

Date: Aug. 9th(Fri.) to 18th(Sun)

We will response to your requests after Aug. 19th(Mon.).

Please note that requests for express delivery and EDDS will be processed in the order of application.
Since many other libraries will still be closed due to Summer vacation after Aug. 19th(Mon.), it may take longer than usual for orders to arrive.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

We will announce the opening hours of Kasumi Library and Higashisenda Library after 16:00.

Because of the classes at the Higashihiroshima, Kasumi, and Higashisenda campuses on July 11st (Thur.) from the first period to the fourth period (8:45 AM to 12:00 PM) are canceled (except for some online classes).

As a result, all Libraries will be temporarily closed until noon (12:00 PM).
We will provide further information regarding the reopening schedule.

Tomorrow, July 11 (Thursday), heavy rain is expected in Hiroshima Prefecture.

Please be aware of the possibility of temporary closures or changes in opening hours due to class cancellations.

If we decide to temporarily close or adjust opening hours, we will announce it on the library website and X (Twitter). Before visiting, please make sure to check for updates.

Hiroshima University Library Supporter HULS will hold an information session on student book selection.
If you are interested in this program but would like to make a decision after hearing about it, please join us!

The deadline for the following application has been extended to Monday, July 15!
Interested applicants are encouraged to apply.

We are also planning to hold an information session on Friday, July 12, from 4:30 p.m.
We will inform you of the details when they are finalized.

HULS is looking for new members to select library books together with us.
This activity is to select books necessary for university study and books to recommend to younger students from a student's point of view.
We look forward to your application!

    Wednesday, June 19, 2024 - Friday, July 5, 2024　Monday, July 15, 2024
    *The application period may be closed before the application period if there are too many applicants.
    *If there is a bias in the number of applicants' faculties or grades, adjustments may be made.

  • Requirements:
    Undergraduate and graduate students of Hiroshima University

  • Activities:
    (1) Book hunting at bookstores in Hiroshima City--July-August
    (2) Book selection on the web -- July-August
    (3) Displaying the books purchased through the book selection process and creating POPs--December
    You are not required to participate in all of the activities listed in (1) through (3). Please participate as much as you are able.
