The library is available for only Hiroshima University students and staff in this period.

The security guard goes around and asks for showing your student or staff ID card.

Student ID card (blue) or staff ID card (green) is required to enter and exit. People who do not have the University ID card are not able to use the library in the nights.

How to entrance and exit : 

We will inform you about the opening hours of these two libraries in the afternoon.

Central Library : 8:30 -

Hiroshima University Central Library is going to conduct a trial implementation of 24-hour opening during the following period.

You are required to have your student ID card (blue) or staff ID card (green) for entrance and exit. Service is not available if you do not have the card.

Period : From 2019 January 28 (Monday) 22:00
       　 To 2019 February 8 (Friday) 24:00 (12 consecutive days)

An entrance and exit system is on the left side door beside an entrance.

    *It cannot be renewed if another user has already reserved the book or if you have overdue book.

There's a possibility that HU libraries will be closed on September 29th and 30th, because a typhoon is approaching Hiroshima Area. We will let you know on our website once we decide.

All HU libraries are closed on July 28, 2018 , due to the typhoon.

Campus network and some library services will be unavailable on July 18 and 19 due to the emergency network maintenance.
