Annoucement of Water Outage

In order to clean water tanks, the water supply will be suspended during the following times. You will be unable to use the water supply and toilets in the library.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Schedule:

Date and Time:2023/8/22 (Tue)  10:00-12:00 (Planned)
Place:Higashi-Senda Library’s water supply and toilets
          ※During the time of the water outage, please use the toilets in School Building L and School Building M.

About InterLibrary Loan Request from August 9th to August 15th.


Due to the summer holidays, InterLibrary Copy/Loan Request will be suspended
for the following period.

Date: Aug. 9th(Wed.) to 15th(Thu.)

We will response to your requests after 16th August.

Please note that requests for express delivery and EDDS will be processed in 
the order of application.

Please be aware that many other libraries will still be closed due to summer vacations 
after Aug. 16th(Wed.), so it take longer than usual to obtain them.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The air conditioners at West Library will soon be replacing the air conditioner on the 3rd floor.
 
During construction, loud noises may be heard and you may be asked to move your seats by the staff.

APC vouchers have been used up to the maximum number available in 2023. Please note that vouchers are no longer being offered this year.

If you wish to make your article open access, APC payment is required, but a 15% discount will be applied. (To apply the discount, you must use the email address "****@hiroshima-u.ac.jp" at the time of submission.)

Eligible articles: Articles accepted for publication in RSC journals between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023 *Gold OA journals are not eligible.

Description: Article processing charge (APC) will be waived. (Normal price: £2,500 per article).

Number of available articles: 10  *Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis; after the 11th article, payment of the regular fee is required.

Terms of use: The e-mail address "****@hiroshima-u.ac.jp" must be registered when submitting a manuscript.

Expiration date of voucher: Until December 31, 2023
