About InterLibrary Loan Request from August 8th to August 16th.


1. Delivery from other campus(reservation and photocopy request)

Delivery from other campus service will be suspended from August 8th (Sat.) to 16th (Sun.) due to no inter-campus transportation. It will resume on August 17th(Mon.).


2.InterLibrary Copy Request and Loan Request


From August 8th (Sat.) to 16th (Sun.), the West and Higashi-Senda Library will be closed, so the InterLibrary service will be suspended. The service will resume on August 17th(Mon.).

The Central and Kasumi Library will be provide the InterLibrary service  from August 11th (Mon.) to 13th (Thu.) , but please note that it will take time to obtain materials you requested because many other university libraries will be closed during this period.
*August 8th (Sat.) to August 10th (Mon.),August 14th (Fri.) to August 16th (Sun.) will be closed.

Please be aware that many libraries will be closed due to summer vacations after August 17th(Mon.), so it will take longer than usual to obtain them.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.


【All Libraries】Temporarily Closed on July 14

All HU libraries are temporarily closed all day on July 14th. (Updated at 11:20a.m.)


HU Libraries are temporarily closed from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on July 14th, because of HU All morning classes cancelled.

Whether to open after 12:00 p.m. will be decided based on the class cancellation status.

All HU libraries are temporarily closed all day on July 7th. (Updated at 11:00a.m.)

HU Libraries are temporarily closed from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on July 7th, because of HU All morning classes cancelled.

【For HU members】Limited seats are available(from June 16)


We provide HU members the service according to the Hiroshima University Activity Restrictions Index.

 

From June 1st, HU activities have been restricted to Level 2", so we restarted limited services; borrowing and returning books.

In addition, the seats can be used for attending classes and conducting ongoing research from June 16.

*We have reduced the number of seats to keep distance between users.

 

How many seats can use?

 

Central Lib. about 120 seats (usual:922seats)

West Lib. about 200 seats (usual:852seats)

Kasumi Lib. about 90 seats  (usual:327 seats)

Higashi-senda Lib. 30 seats  (usual:81 seats)

 

The facilities for group learning and discussion or poorly ventilated room are suspended.

Restart of Some Services (from June 1st, only for HU members)


HU Libraries closed to May 31.
We will be opened on June 1st with limited services and time for HU menbers.

Opening hours:

All Library is be opened.Please check the opening hours page in advance and visit us.
*Closed on Saturday,Sunday,and public holiday.

Borrowing our Library books and Returnig,
InterLibrary Copy Request / InterLibrary Loan Request
New Purchase Request 

*Limited seats available from June 16.
*Be sure to wear a mask.
*Thoroughly wash your hands and disinfect your hands with antiseptic solution.

Make sure that your stay will be short.

How to enter and exit; 

Libraries are available for only Hiroshima University students and staff.
Student ID card (blue) or staff ID card (green) is required to enter and exit.
People who do not have the University ID card are not able to use the libraries.
